  1. Someone IN THE KNOW has noticed what you and several others have noted: we need to test stamina just as much as we need to test speed. Without balance, the breed will be running at 4 furlongs soon.

    Nice to see a few venues have found it out. Woodbine is one, where the racing secretary recently wrote a 12 furlong main track race for maidens.

    Insight might have returned to thoroughbred racing. Let’s hope it continues.
