Dancing Allstar to "Summit of Speed" · 11.07.08

Hastings star sprinter Dancing Allstar is set to make a big splash at Calder Race Course’s “Summit of Speed” this Saturday. She is listed as the second favourite in the $250,000 Azalea for 3-year-old fillies at Calder Race Course, and will carry high-weight of 122 lbs.

The 6f, G3 Azalea is one of four graded stakes on the $1.4 million Summit of Speed program, the marquee event of the Calder season. It will be shown on the Hastings simulcast network at 12:30 local time.

Update: Dancing Allstar finished third in the Azalea, tracking the pace before tiring to finish third. Undefeated Indyanne almost wired the field on her way to a 9 1/2 length victory.
